Seattle, WA – July 20, 2022 – SuperGraphics is proud to announce they have officially attained EnviroStars certification.

After months of improvements to company-wide sustainability practices, SuperGraphics has achieved EnviroStars Leader recognition. They’re the first large format printer in Seattle, Washington, to achieve this certification. This accreditation indicates that SuperGraphics is green in all aspects of its business: energy and water conservation, pollution prevention, and reduced waste and greenhouse gas emissions.

Although SuperGraphics has spent years working toward developing and implementing their EcoFormat™ sustainable print initiative, this is the first outside recognition they’ve achieved for their efforts. “Our EcoFormat™ initiative focuses on delivering zero landfill waste solutions to our clients and community,” states SuperGraphics President Reid Baker. “The Envirostars certification recognizes our efforts here and is a positive step in our sustainability journey.”

Gaining this certification required SuperGraphics to learn and implement EnviroStars core actions. These include monitoring and adjusting energy consumption, identifying and preventing pollutants, properly disposing of and reducing all solid waste, adopting clean transportation programs, reducing water consumption, and providing annual company training for these practices. “We’re thrilled to be a part of the EnviroStars team,” says Production Supervisor and Sustainability Coordinator Maria Smith. “We’ve worked hard to implement our EcoFormat™ initiative and the EnvioStars core actions into our business practices, allowing us to lead the way to sustainable large-format printing.”

Although SuperGraphics is currently at the first tier of recognition, EnviroStars Leader, they plan to continue implementing additional EnviroStars core actions and advance toward the next levels: EnviroStars Partner and, eventually, EnviroStars Champion.

With this EnviroStars certification, you can now find SuperGraphics on the GreenBizTracker at https://www.greenbiztracker.org/business/supergraphics-seattle. Learn more about SuperGraphics’ EcoFormat™ materials, services, and practices at https://supergraphics.com/ecoformat/.

Putting a brand in its own store is one thing — you own the walls and set the rules. Putting it in someone else's is a different discipline entirely. McKenna Ellis, Account Marketing Manager at The North Face, makes the brand show up like itself across hundreds of stores it doesn't own, threading the needle between standing out and being a good guest.

Greg Sundberg has spent 25 years at the University of Montana proving that championship programs aren't just built by coaches and athletes — they're built by the environments they walk into every day. Here's what one of college athletics' most tenured leaders has learned about the strategic power of branded spaces.

Brooks Running takes ownership of its brand seriously — and Johnny Hubbard is a big reason why. As Creative Production Design Manager, he's spent 12 years building the production design infrastructure that translates Brooks' creative into every window, wall, and surface it lives on. Now, as Brooks opens its first owned retail stores, that foundation is exactly what's making it possible. Here's how it works.
