We manage complex projects sustainably and believe in open-loop recycling and clean second use. Our team is a trusted partner to many iconic brands who rely on our ability to execute local and nationwide programs from concept to completion with superior results.

our history

setting the standard since 1990

1990

SuperGraphics originated as Magraw, Inc., located in Preston, Washington. An innovative startup company, Magraw was a leading large-format printer in Washington State and the 11th 3M Scotchprint authorized manufacturer worldwide.

1997

As Magraw was acquired by GM Nameplate, the company is relocated to Seattle and rebranded as XL Images.

2001

While expanding its nationwide presence, XL Images acquires SuperGraphics, a California large-format printer. With this addition, XL Images is rebranded as SuperGraphics, Inc.

2018

A group of SuperGraphics employees and a 27-year print veteran complete an employee buyout to purchase the company. SuperGraphics, Inc. is now SuperGraphics LLC.

2023

SuperGraphics LLC relocates to a larger facility in the SoDo district to accommodate its rapid expansion. The building features a seamless one-level production floor and two stories of office space.

In the fall of 2018, SuperGraphics was purchased by an employee-led group of graphic experts. New ownership has revamped technology throughout the entire building giving the entire SuperGraphics employee team even more capabilities and solutions for customers.

setting a Guinness world record

SuperGraphics designed, produced, and installed the world’s largest digital graphic in 2006. This won the company a Guinness World Record that holds true today. Measuring over 10,000 square feet, this wall graphic is featured on six bay doors of the assembly building at the Boeing Everett Factory. Read more about our SuperFormat™ achievement here!

WORLD'S FIRST DIGITAL BUS WRAP

A passion for innovation is ingrained in SuperGraphics’ culture. To advertise the launch of Crystal Pepsi in 1993, SuperGraphics produced the first digitally printed full bus wrap. Our wrap featured printable perforated window films, a brand-new invention at the time.

A passion for innovation is ingrained in SuperGraphics’ culture. We are industry-recognized for pioneering innovation in graphic magnitude and sustainable print.

As experts in producing and installing massive graphics, SuperGraphics invented a new print classification we call SuperFormat®. SuperFormat® graphics surpass large-format and grand-format in size to be as large as you can imagine. Through SuperFormat®, we’ve achieved the Guinness World Record for the largest printed and installed digital graphic. We’ve also produced and installed graphics on the building where the world’s most advanced rockets are made: the NASA Kennedy Space Center.

As leaders in sustainable print, we launched our EcoFormat® initiative in 2019. EcoFormat® is our commitment to landfill waste reduction through eco-friendly print materials, services, and supply chain. We’ve completed extensive research to source and offer PVC-free, 100% recyclable material options for every project at SuperGraphics. We’ve built open-loop recycling workflows centered around the production of zero landfill waste. By partnering with the PNW recycling industry, we ensure all pre- and post-consumer waste is given a clean second use as GigaFuel. SuperGraphics is dedicated to leading and delivering innovation for the environment through EcoFormat®.
